Interestingly, the Barclays' Retail Industry Forum are saying that over half of retailers expect a Christmas that's over 10% better than last year... Meanwhile, IMRG is predicting a 60% or more increase, while Hitwise (who predict a more modest 8% year on year increase) suggest that 4-16 December will be the peak ordering time... Clearly, future-gazing is an inexact science!
