More spent online in Germany than France & UK
Consumers shopping online in Germany in the run up to Christmas spent more than shoppers in the UK or in France, according to figures from comScore Networks. The company puts the figure for the amount of money spent online in the UK during November and December at 4 billion euros - a lot less than the £7.66 billion quoted by IMRG. -
French e-retail growing at 42%
E-commerce in France is growing at 42% according to the French e-commerce association ACSEL. The industry turned over 2.7 billion Euros during the second quarter of 2007.
