Yahoo results not so high
Yahoo's first quarter profits were never going to be as high as Google's but even in comparison to its own financial report a year ago, business is not looking quite so rosy for Yahoo.
Revenue was up 7% to $167 billion but the search company reported a drop in profits of 11% to $142.4 million. The earnings dip is an expected result of the migration process to Panama, reports internetnews.com. "They're getting the kinks out of the engine and that's why things are declining."
