Google allows YouTube video ads

Video adverts are being accepted on YouTube, owner Google has confirmed.

According to the BBC, the adverts take up 20% of the screen window and start 15 seconds after a user has started to watch a video - and disappears within 10 seconds if the user doesn't click to watch it.

The first video adverts will be music related and connected to videos. Advertisers include Warner Music, News Corporation, 20th Century Fox and New Line Cinema.
