eBay offices bombed
A bomb exploded outside the offices of eBay and PayPal in San Jose, California, on 31 October reports internetnews.com.
Luckily no-one was injured and it seems to have caused little damage. The company is still operating and employees are returning to work. Company president Bill Cobb said, "We're concerned, of course, about the cause of this incident, and needless to say, eBay is working closely with local and federal law enforcement agents in their investigation".
Whether this was an extreme 'trick or treat', the work of a disgruntled ex-employee or a case of customer service gone really wrong isn't known yet. Hopefully it will prove to be a one-off.
