eBay and Google - make more money

Yes, I know, it's hardly news any more. So - in brief - eBay makes 10% more and Google makes 70% more than last year. If you can get up the energy, links to the details follow...

"Google reported revenues of $2.69 billion for the quarter ended September 30, 2006, an increase of 70% compared to the third quarter of 2005 and an increase of 10% compared to the second quarter of 2006.", quoth the Google press release.

eBay meanwhile announced (note - pdf file) that their gross income had increased by 31% with net income increasing 10%.

Amazon's results are being broadcast on 24 October, but I didn't think it worth waiting until then just to be able to close off the whole of the GooglAmaBay results in one post...
