From Tower42, overlooking the City of London, Internet Retailing introduces its first JumpStart event on Mobile Retailing, along with the launch of our new title, M-Retailing.net, focusing on the role of mobile within multichannel retailing.
Ian Jindal, Editor in Chief, chats with M-Retailing Editor Paul Skeldon, and they reflect on a dynamic and very enthusiastic morning's presentations, with not a single person declaring "the year of mobile". Rather, there's a briskness and a commercial focus upon rapidly adopting the opportunities mobile presents to engage with customers. All presenters emphasised the importance of cross-channel integration and focus on the customer, reflecting that mobile has arrived on the scene fully formed, commercially focused and ready to build our businesses!
