M&S runs 1p delivery promotion

Marks and Spencer has reduced its standard £3.50 delivery charge to just 1p, as part of its 125th birthday celebrations. The price reduction applies to its range of items that usually carry the standard charge, including clothing, beauty, homewares and wine orders. The four day offer began on 11 November and finishes on 14 November.
For international deliveries, costs have been cut from now until the last posting day for Christmas. European deliveries now cost £5 and orders for delivery to the rest of the world cost £10.

This is excellent news and another example of the innovation that is being taken to jumpstart international deliveries in e-commerce – its the final frontier. As a non-resident of UK, I am excited for this cheap shipping. However, I’m concerned about the unknown customs duties and taxes I will have to pay when it gets to my country. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I “see” these charges at the time I purchase the goods from M&S?
