Affiliate network LinkShare is reporting increased interest in affiliate marketing from the fashion retailing sector, with a number of new retailers signing up to run affiliate marketing campaigns in the run up to Christmas.

Some of the companies launching new affiliate campaigns with LinkShare include high street shoes and accessories retailer Faith; designer fashion stores Jigsaw and Fenn Wright Manson; luxury fashion boutique Matches; watch and accessories retailer Fossil and handbag and accessories designer Radley.

“We were looking for a network to expand the reach of the Faith affiliate program,” says Talin Vartevanian, head of ecommerce at Faith Shoes. “LinkShare works closely with us building new partnerships with good quality content sites to add to our existing portfolio. These sites allow us to showcase the Faith brand and product range whilst aligning our affiliate activity with the new website, offering an improved online shopping experience. We are looking forward to a busy couple of months over the festive and New Year’s sales period, and with LinkShare’s continued support are expecting our affiliate channel to grow considerably.”

“We were impressed with LinkShare’s proven track record of increasing sales and also the exposure it is able to offer its customers online,” added Rob Short, online marketing manager at Matches. “Given that research continues to show that purchasing decisions are increasingly influenced by a wide range of online sources, teaming up with LinkShare is a natural progression for Matches to compliment its high-end designer offering offline and to exceed targets in the run up to Christmas.”
