Mydeco strengthens delivery rate, reduces production time with Emailvision

Mydeco.com is using Emailvision‘s Campaign Commander on-demand SaaS email marketing platform to improve segmentation and targeting of its email campaigns and has seen campaign deliverability rates as high as 99.8% since switching email service provider.

The interiors specialist has also found that using Campaign Commander’s templating and visual editing modes has halved the time it spends producing its weekly newsletter, which is distributed to approximately 200,000 customers.

As a result, a second weekly mailout has been launched, which provides early-bird access to exclusive deals and specific offers. The recipients are selected from those who have shown an interest in particular sales or promotions based on their clicking behaviour in the main newsletter. The new email has an average open rate of 55%.

Mydeco now plans to focus on increasing the personalised content in its campaigns, and will test the use of personalised ‘from’ lines and subject lines.

“We needed to implement more sophisticated campaigns, targeting different customer segments by using a range of dynamic and personalised content. While our newsletter used a standard template, we encountered problems each week with the HTML coding and felt that we had to find something more user-friendly,” said Jo Casley, marketing manager at Mydeco. “Emailvision’s Campaign Commander stood out from the competition as it provided a great degree of functionality that could be implemented with only a limited knowledge of HTML coding.”
