The world’s top ten internet retailers revealed

US players continue to dominate internet retailing, according to new analysis from yStats.com. Second, sixth and eighth places are held by European retailers, but US firms take all the other spots in the top ten.

Amazon comes top in the rankings with online sales figures of more than twice that of the world’s second- (Otto Group) and third- (Staples) placed retailers.

They are followed by Office Depot, Dell, Arcandor (Germany), Hewlett-Packard, Tesco, OfficeMax and Apple.
