Scholl’s sales double with new ecommerce platform
SSL International has doubled online sales for its Scholl brand since launching a new website built by ecommerce consultants Javelin Group on the Hybris Commerce platform.
“Our aim with this latest online development was to enable our customers to interact with the Scholl brand and its products, whilst also using our vast knowledge as global foot experts to recommend products to them,” explains Waseem Haq, head of web and ecommerce solutions at SSL International.
Javelin Group’s CamelCommerce, a modular ‘Hybris plus’ solution, was chosen for the project. CamelCommerce combines Hybris’s multi-channel, multi-language and multi-currency capabilities with additional best practice ecommerce functionality and integration with market-leading applications for order management, search and navigation, personalisation, analytics and customer ratings.
SSL now plans to roll out the website to overseas markets, starting with Europe this month.
Development of a similar ecommerce site for SSL’s Durex brand, which will be launched in the UK later this year and then rolled out around the world, is already under way.
