Dunhill chooses localised global ecommerce solution

Submitted by Sarah Clark on July 3, 2009 – 3:12 pmNo Comment

Dunhill has chosen a new release of the CTS/Sell ecommerce platform from Createthe Group, a specialist in the delivery of ecommerce solutions for luxury brands, for the introduction of an integrated, international ecommerce operation.

CTS/Sell allows brands and retailers to create multiple localised sites that can all be centrally managed from one platform. Both the visual merchandising and the content management system support localised content for an unlimited set of regions, languages and currencies, allowing each country to be provided with its own range, pricing, availability and content.

“The new site marries the Dunhill luxury brand experience with the localisation of the in-store experience,” says Richard Ascott, head of ecommerce at Dunhill. “Now, no matter where a customer is doing their online shopping, they are in an online store that caters to the regional distinctions to which they are accustomed. And for Dunhill, we can easily, efficiently and more cost-effectively manage all of these regional sites from one central platform.”

First launched in April, Dunhill.com now supports 15 delivery regions, four languages and four currencies integrated with three order fulfilment warehouses and three payment gateways.
