Sock Shop adds microsites and viral game
Online retailer SockShop.co.uk is building its web presence with the launch of a selection of product microsites and the appointment of viral marketing agency Tamba to create a viral game.
The game, due to be launched in August, is aimed at increasing brand awareness and driving traffic to SockShop.co.uk.
Since 2006 Sock Shop has been owned by The Ruia Group, whose fashion brands include Jeep, Glenmuir and Elle. Sock Shop now operates online exclusively and specialises in supplying socks and hosiery from brands such as Nike, Pretty Polly and Pringle.
“We are confident that a viral game will create an online buzz about SockShop.co.uk, introducing new customers to our wide range of products and customer service,” says Cassie Ash, marketing manager at SockShop.co.uk. “Tamba is hugely experienced in the viral industry, and presented us with creative gaming ideas that represented our products and will highlight SockShop.co.uk’s role as a popular online retailer.”
