Luxury jewellery boutique picks Snow Valley for next-gen website

Submitted by on June 5, 2009 – 4:06 pmNo Comment

Astley Clarke has appointed Snow Valley to design and develop a new website which will include wish list functionality and an improved tell-a-friend function. Guided navigation, allowing customers to view products grouped by type or colour, will be provided using the Snow Valley Muse platform’s faceted search solution. The new ecommerce platform will also offer greater support for marketing and promotions.

Snow Valley’s design & user experience team will be providing the creative for the new online store, which will be fully integrated with Astley Clarke’s MNP-provided fulfilment system.

“We followed an extensive selection procedure, and Snow Valley were chosen due to their wealth of experience in this sector, and the strength of their technical and creative teams,” says Vicky Lovell, operations director at AstleyClarke.com.

“Astley Clarke is known for its fine designer jewellery and for the attention to detail that they pay to their customers and their service,” explained Sam Andrews, creative director at Snow Valley. “We’ll be helping them to extend that right the way across their online store.”

“When you order a piece of jewellery from AstleyClarke.com you can choose for it to arrive in a beautiful box, wrapped in handpressed Japanese paper and Italian ribbon. The design and the user experience must convey that magnificent level of service from the moment the customer goes onto the website. We’re really delighted to be working with such a successful and ambitious online retailer.”
