Small retailers report success with online video
Video hosting service Vzaar has identified some impressive improvements by some of its smaller customers who have adopted online video. In one instance, a diamond seller has seen sales increase by 65% in the four months since adding product videos — and has also seen a reduction in returns from 30% to 12%.
“Ecommerce is still growing at a rate of 15% per annum and we expect to see video for commerce to grow as fast, based on the rate we are acquiring customers today,” says Vzaar’s Ian Snead. “The diversity of our clients’ products has been staggering, ranging from industrial equipment to jewellery.”
