DRL to pool appliance reviews across nine top websites
DRL, the UK’s largest online white goods retailer and which provides end-to-end online fulfilment services for major retailers including Boots, House of Fraser and Marks & Spencer, is rolling out customer reviews across its portfolio of websites.
The company has appointed Bazaarvoice to handle its reviews offering, beginning with a specially created microsite at Appliance-Reviews.co.uk where it is initially syndicating thousands of customer reviews collected across two of its brand websites, BootsKitchenAppliances.com and DRL’s own website, www.AppliancesOnline.co.uk. The reviews will be rolled out across all the nine websites DRL supplies in the coming months.
“We know the importance of social commerce in retail and this is the first step for DRL in letting customers lead customers to the right choice,” says Matthew Lawson, online marketing consultant at DRL. “This in turn helps increase conversion, sales of products and reduces returns. It also helps to flush out bad products which have recurring problems.”
