Rewe Group gives individual stores their own websites
Germany’s Rewe Group has given each of its supermarkets in Germany the opportunity to design their own promotional website within the overall Rewe.de corporate website, Planet Retail reports:
The internet-based content management system that allows the independent store manager to create their own web presence was developed by Nexum with technology from Imperia. Nexum and Imperia both are subsidiaries of German retail software specialist Pironet NDH.
In the corporate design of Rewe, store managers as well as independent Rewe shop owners are able to promote local events, regional products, additional offers and individual services under the newly created category ‘Mein Markt’ (‘my store’) on the Rewe.de website.
“With Mein Markt, we have created a new grade of individuality to approach customers directly and for creative ideas at all our stores both company-owned and associated,” Rewe has said. Usage agreements and content management systems will ensure that Rewe’s national demands on corporate identity are strictly observed.
